Cheap External USB Hard Drive Reviewed |
A good external hard drive for cheap is an absolute requirement for any musician, band, or anyone that is reliant on video and audio to showcase their work. We like the Iomega Prestige 1TB (that's equivalent to 1021 Gigabytes of storage space!) USB External Hard Drive to fulfill all of our wishes. We used one to backup the Music Mates site and like it so much, we bought another.

USB external hard drives are so easy to install these days if you don't have one yet. Just remove it from the packaging and plug it into your computer and the wall of course. Turn your computer on next and your new hardware will automatically be recognized. Follow the screens as you are instructed after that. the Iomega Prestige works with MAC or PC and has proven to be the best mix for us here at Music Mates for the cheap price.
Actually, we don't even keep data files on our computers anymore. We just use the external hard drives, which has speeded up the operation of our computers about 10 times. Great unit. |
