Music Mates is a Web-based, national referral system for musicians seeking bands,
bands seeking musicians, instructors accepting students, bands and
performers available for hire.
Where most commercial search engines on the Web today have gone to the pay-per-click model, or annual posting just to get listed, we have continued the tradition of allowing free posting and viewing with opportunites for maximum exposure through Showcase Postings.
Music Mates was developed in 1995 by serving the needs of Colorado musicians and bands trying to find each other within Colorado. In January 2000, the system was made available to musicians in any state of the U.S. |

The launch of the new Musicians' MEGABASE is the next evolution of our program. Using state-of-the-art Web driven
database technology, we're now able to handle hundreds of thousands of accounts and postings.
The success of this program has always relied heavily on the people who use it. Tell your friends, people you work with, people you jam with that there is a free referral system available to them. Music Mates has already been here for over 10 years and we're only getting started!!
You can also help by printing a Music Mates Flyer and hanging it in your favorite club, music store, restaurant, library or place of work. After all, the more people that you help bring to this system, the more it will help you.
